WATER RESISTANCE.

Ensure the crown is fully pushed in before exposure to water, the crown or any buttons on the watch must not be operated when wet.

Water resistance is the ability of a watch to withstand splashes of water. Water resistance ratings are listed in depths or pressure. This depth rating actually signifies the results of a static pressure test, undertaken in a laboratory environment. The number of metres shown is not to be confused with how deep underwater a watch can go. Unless a watch is built specifically for deep sea diving then water resistance feature means that the watch is not designed for prolonged use under water.

SUEDE CARE.

Suede is a delicate material and requires special care to retain its appearance.

  1. Keep your strap dry and never clean it with water as it will stain the material.

  2. If your suede begins to look flat you can give it a soft brush with a dry toothbrush to reinvigorate the texture.

  3. Suede can lose colour if exposed to continual light, so always store your watch in its gift box when it is not being worn.

  4. Suede will absorb dyes from clothing, if your strap starts to look dirty it will be due to colour leeching from fabrics.

WATCH CARE.

  1. Remove your watch whilst applying sprays or cosmetics.

  2. Do not allow contact with any corrosive agent (e.g.: petrol, paint, solvents, and adhesives as this may affect the case and finish).

  3. Wipe your watch after wear with a soft dry cloth, this will help maintain the finish and colour.

  4. Do not immerse in water.

  5. The batteries should only be replaced by a qualified technician.
